I thought I already told everyone, but apparently I spaced again. I have moved this blog to http://www.spiritinspires.com/blog.
Sorry about that. If anyone still doesn’t know, just follow the link.

I have been bad, so I’ll probably get coal in my stocking for Christmas this year. I have been bad, because this only my second post in the whole year.
In truth, I have been busy. I have redesigned my www.spiritontheroad.org site and been working on that. I’ve also been keeping up my www.inspiritstime.com blog and working on my distance learning site.
What I have decided to do is to build a new WordPress blog on my own server, rather than a free space, so I am moving this blog over to http://spiritinspires.com/blog/, my new Inspired by Spirit blog. I am doing this for many reasons, not the least of which is greater flexibility, and integration with other social medias. So,
if there is anyone still here and waiting for an update, join me at: http://spiritinspires.com/blog/
Blessings & peace,
Rev. Jim Starke

Happy New Year everyone.
We’re/I’m in Ft. Myers right now. I visited the Center for Spiritual Living Naples last w/e and shared my focus with them. Boy, they’ve had a great turn around. They had close to 50 people at their burning Bowl ceremony and it was wonderful. I got to participate by doing the opening convocation, assisting in the burning bowl ceremony, both as the keeper of the bowl (making sure we didn’t set the beautiful landscape on fire), and in releasing the old, as per Colin Tippings Radical Forgiveness. Then of course, I told everyone what my ministry was and the response was great. Rev. Heidi Peck and her husband Bob were gracious, and it was nice to finally meet him. Heidi I’ve known for some time asshe was there every week when I rolled into the Ft. Lauderdale Center for classes over the 2+ years I drove down. I am feeling more convinced that it was Spirit’s choice for me to remain in Florida a while longer.
And, this weekend is the Regional Minister’s Conference in Cape Coral, and I will be there, as will a couple of my Ministerial Grad ministers from Ontario who are flying down for the Conference, Randy and Ann Armstrong.
Diana is off to Nicaragua for immersion Spanish, and enjoying herself. We skyped last night.
I am hoping to make some new connections this Saturday at the conference for speaking as I’m at the point of not receiving responses to my inquiries, either by non-updated websites or lost messages. It can’t be that anyone is ignoring me, or doesn’t want me to share, could it?!
Knowing that can’t be, I know I am filling my engagement card right now, and a Sunday talk is even popping into my hologram for me to share.
Speaking of holograms, if you haven’t read “Busting Loose from the Money Game” by Robert Sheinfeld, ya gotta do it. I’m putting this into your hologram right now. It will turn your world upside down. There is a UCSL course out there that is being taught at many different Centers right now. The course is the product of Alice Bandy of UCSL home office. If it’s half as challenging as the book, your life will change, our Centers will change, and the world will change , because of it!
Peace, Love, Dove,

Not becuse we’ve landed in Bradenton, FL, but because we’re running into crowds everywhere. Long lines, harried shoppers. It becomes a good time to practice a little walking mindfulness meditation and remember that there is plenty of time in and for everything we do.
“If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work. “
–Thich Nhat Hanh
He is one of the great living masters. His simple words can transform our lives. We don’t need to read anythin into them beyond the pure love with which they are offered.
We visited the Center for Conscious Living this weekend, and shared with Rev. Marla Sanderson and her community. It was great, as was the prosperity class we joined her for last night.
I am grateful to everyone we meet. I feel the love they have for this philosophy, as I continue to spread the existence of my ministry.
Thank you!

Got here yesterday. We’re on the Gulf side of Florida. We’re a little inland,Northeast of Tampa in farm country. Lot’s of veggie stands with fresh produce. Diana loves it. Visited the Central Florida Center for Spiritual Living last Sunday and shared the ministry to an open crowd. I am continually uplifted by the support we’ve received from every spiritual community we’ve visited. Reverend Waukena Cuyjet and Leda Perez were wonderful in sharing the service with us. We meet and shared with some great people after service and came away with some new friends that I’m sure we’ll share and meet with again. My thanks to John and Cath for thieir warm and loving community.
I’d like to share this wonderful quote with you:
“How would you live if you felt you could trust life fully? If you believed you were totally protected and secure, that forevermore your life would be filled with love and prosperity? Think of how your fears would dissolve, of how totally accepting of yourself and others you would be–it wouldn’t matter if they met your expectations or not. Think of how you would venture forth knowing you would succeed. Think of how your heart would open, of how free you would feel. How free you would be to love. All of this is the treasure that life offers us. We just lack the consciousness to experience it.”
~Susan L. Taylor
Thanks for reading, and bless you.

We’ve been in Ft. Lauderdale for almost two weeks this go around. It’s been fun, and interesting trying to plan our next month or so.
Every time I think I know what I’m doing, a voice says, “What about this?”
I say, “What do you mean, what about this?”
I was planning on getting out of the state and heading West, but something is keeping me here a little longer. One thing is the Minister’s Conference in January. It seems like it could be important, so I feel like I should be here.
The other is this nagging in the back of my brain (not my wife) telling me there are a lot of Centers that I’m missing, and of course It’s right. There are still many on the Gulf Coast. So, when I found out I couldn’t get to all the Centers I wanted to in Alabama in one fell swoop, but that isn’t going to happen this go around. When I hear from the Mobile, AL Centers, I will visit them and then return to the Gulf of Florida, and schedule a few more CSL centers before the MC, and then head West.
At that point I am going to try to do 4 Centers in 4 weeks before the Leadership Conference in Denver. I may have to fly to that, if the weather isn’t friendly. The motor home isn’t approved for skis and Diana is not a fan of the cold. Since we’ve been living in Florida for the past 11 years, I can’t really say I have the correct wardrobe either, but I’ll make it work. I’m sure they’d be happier if I showed up in a car than on a motorcycle anyway, but who knows …?
Next week is Thanksgiving. The meaning of this day has changed a great deal for me over the years and I am more into that place of expressing Gratitude for all that I have, rather than gorging on turkey and all the fixin’s. This will be the first year we haven’t opened our home to our friends in St. Augustine to partake of sharing our gratitude with our closest buds, but we are going to be there, and sharing out with a few, and that is good.
After Thanksgiving we are driving to CSL Orlando to share with John and Kat DePalma’s Center. They won’t be there, except in spirit, but Rev. Waukeena, has graciously offered me some time to share.
Florida has become important, at least in my mind, because so many people that live here, are not from here. The transplants, of which I am one, all know someone somewhere else, who might be open to the philosophy. This can become my base for flushing out the like minded people who want to know.
Oh yeah! Last Sunday was the 50th Anniversary of CSL Ft. Lauderdale, and it was a great celebration. Lots of people, great food by Chef Roger Keener, and of course, Jack Fowler in Concert is always a treat.
Well, it’s been fun. I don’t have time to load a couple of pictures, but come back tomorrow and they should be up.
Did I tell you I saw God while out riding? Hold that thought.

Yesterday was Sunday, and it was our first visit to a UCSL spiritual center. The minister was a woman of diminutive size with a powerful message, Spiritual Mind Treatment works! It was more than that though, It was about how powerful “afformations” are. Based on “The little Book of Afformations” by Noah St. John and Denise Berard, the idea is form your desire as a question to Spirit as to why you can’t or shouldn’t have it as an individualization of the divine. Spirit, of course, only says yes, and thus manifests your thought into form.
Anyway, Reverend Alma Stevens is a dynamo and clearly a master of SMT. She works with “the chart” from the SOM textbook, illustrating how our word manifests by our desire the forms of our thoughts. All the time, she is working the idea of SMT and its importance in our lives.
I have always felt that it’s all about teaching, teaching and more teaching. Butterflies and fairy sprites are nice, but the word and the law are what the teaching is all about. Yay Alma.
In two weeks I visit the Boca Raton church and Dr. Barbara Lunde. I am looking forward to the visit.
Before I forget, my wife Diana has put together a great blog about our visits to the different cities and some of our sort of mis-adventures, that are all part of this great adventure of ours. Seems the motorcycle seems to be a recurring theme in her blogs. It has been a source of humor and challenge at times, and I’m sure will continue to make life interesting for us. You can find her blog at www.350sqft.com, so named for an overzealous estimation of our living quarters’ size.
It has been a great ride so far. That’s the ministry I’m talking about. Well, so has the bike. As we get into December and a little further north, I’m sure her blogs will get a little icier. Stay tuned.
In Peace,
Rev. Jim

Hi all,
Well, it’s official. I have received notification that Jim Starke as been approved as a licenced Focus Minister with International Centers for Spiritual Living. The paperwork is “in the works.” YaaHoo!
Spirit on the Road will continue this weekend by addressing its first UCSL center at a Sunday Service in Hollywood. Rev. Alma Stevens, thank you very much.
Hoping to hear from Rev. Alan Sells or Rev. Barbara Lundy this week about following up with their communities!
All is in perfect order. My Honda is in getting some much needed maintenance, so her community won’t see me in all my glory, but as an advertisement for U-Haul. I love affordable rentals, and it allows us to do some much needed large item shopping!. Yay!.
Peace be with you and in you!
Reverend Jim Starke

Where are you?
We are right now out visiting Centers for Spiritual Living in Florida. We have been to Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Ft. Lauderdale, Sarasota, and Cape Coral spreading the word that “We are out here!”
My wife Diana, a Science of Mind Practitioner, and myself, an International Centers for Spiritual Living Minister are on the road letting people know just that. Our ministry is an outreach. The Science of Mind philosophy is inclusive of all religious philosophies, the teachings of Abraham, Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, the Shamanic philosophies, and others.
It is a teaching of love, of good, of Oneness with the Creator. It is a correlation of laws of science, opinions of philosophy, and revelations of religion applied to the needs and aspirations of humankind.
The teaching simply is “it’s done unto you as you believe!”
If you knew you created your own life, and that you were only a “victim” of your own thought process, what would you change?
Wayne Dyer teaches it, Deepak Chopra, Michael Lossier, Jack Canfield and more. It’s not “a secret”, although some make it out to be.
If you’d like to know more, check out our website, www.spiritontheroad.org, and give us a call. We’re out here for you!
In Peace & Love,
Jim

With Spirit as our Guide, and a little help from our friends, our route route will begin to take shape shortly before, as we send out invitations to have us come and share our vision and our journey in different spiritual communities around North America.
If you are part of an existing Spiritual community and would like us to share with your community, or, if you are just starting to form a spiritual community and would like to have us join you and share with you, please email me or contact me through this blog.
